Tiffany Rano
Vice President
I love Klahanie so much that, after a year of renting in the neighborhood, I purchased a home here. You'll often find me biking along Klahanie roads and trails with my husband and two kids. With a Masters of Architecture, 10+ years experience in the field, along with being a certified Passive House consultant, I'm hoping to share my expertise with the community. As for the Board, I'd like to bring a different perspective by representing women and minorities. Last year, I began volunteering with the Klahanie Architectural Control Committee to assist in the modernization of our neighborhood and updating the Architectural Controls Guidelines. I've enjoyed making connections with staff and residents, have seen how change can be implemented, and want to continue making improvements by serving on the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Shepherd
Board Secretary
I moved to WA over 20 years ago and have been a Klahanie resident for the past 12 years with my husband Ben and my 3 boys. We were drawn to this community because of the amazing people and all the great amenities Klahanie has to offer. I love fine arts and working with children. I have a degree in early childhood development and dance. For the past 25 years, I have been an entrepreneur. Before starting my family, I owned a children's dance studio in upstate NY, and now have a photography business focused on children and families. I’m also an active member of the community volunteering with the PTSA and the Eastside Soccer Club.

Kathy Salb
Board Director
I have a strong bond with Klahanie, having relocated from Toronto with my family in 1999. We chose to live in Klahanie because of the community's amenities and its breathtaking natural beauty. Over the years, we've raised our son and daughter here and are incredibly grateful to have chosen this exceptional place as our home.
Recently retired from my role as the Director of Human Resources for a senior community, I've kept myself busy with volunteering, traveling, gardening, and indulging in lots of pickleball! As a member of the Klahanie Board of Directors, I am dedicated to preserving and enhancing the exceptional living experience that Klahanie offers.

Mark Cooper
Board Director
My wife, Tina, and I vacationed in the Pacific Northwest in 2010 and were captivated by the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural surroundings. Making the move to Klahanie in 2013 from the St. Louis area, we've embraced the community wholeheartedly. Our numerous walks around Klahanie reflect our love for everything the neighborhood offers – the family-friendly environment, green spaces, Yellow Lake, the trail, and amenities. We actively contribute by helping neighbors and engaging in activities like cleaning sidewalks, raking leaves, and trimming trees.

Bruce Bruski
Board Director
As a long-time Klahanie resident and corporate compliance professional, I believe in homeowners’ rights, transparency, and good governance. What initially drew my wife and me to Klahanie was the wonderful amenities. My family has built many memories on the courts, in the pools, and walking Yellow Lake trail. What has kept us here is the ability to meet and interact with smart people of all ages from all over the world.
This is an amazing community to be a part of. I am proud to serve on the Board and will work tirelessly on your behalf. During my term on the Board, my goal is to ensure the association’s financial condition will be strong, common areas maintained, and homeowners engaged, respected, and included in key decision-making by the HOA Board.
I represent you, the homeowners and believe in your right to vote on major financial decisions.
